The road to the Mission House Studio takes in the breathtaking lunar landscape of the east coast of Harris. Known as "The Bays of Harris" the rocky East Coast south of Tarbert along the Minch is full of small village communities, hidden coves and stunning views of the Minch, Skye and The West Coast of Mainland Scotland. Also a haven for wildlife, you will often see seals, otters and a myriad of birdlife. As you can drive around the island in an afternoon, it is well worth visiting the bays and stopping in on your way.
